Full Journal pdf2009-04-18 House Journal Page 1109 SB 48 The following, which was advanced to third reading from the April 17, 2009, calendar (page 1064), was read the third time: CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 48(JUD) "An Act exempting municipal service area boards from the requirements of conducting meetings open to the public when a meeting is administrative or managerial in nature; and amending the definition of 'meeting' as it relates to public governmental meetings." Representative Petersen moved and asked unanimous consent that CSSB 48(JUD) be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Petersen: Page 2, line 13, following "nature": Insert "; in this paragraph, a matter is administrative or managerial in nature only if the matter involves the administration of policy previously adopted by the board or contained in state or municipal law" 2009-04-18 House Journal Page 1110 Representative Petersen moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Ramras objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?"
